  • Atlanta Braves vs. New York Mets = 06/17 - 06/19

    Monday, 17th June,
    7:20 PM EDT
    SunTrust Park

Zack Wheeler, RH (5-4, 4.87, 99 Ks) - New York Mets

Mike Soroka, RH (7-1, 1.92, 60 Ks) - Atlanta Braves

METS: With Wheeler’s defense doing him few favors last time out at Yankee Stadium, a pair of hard-hit balls and several other extra-base hits resulted in a career-high nine runs (five earned). Wheeler is 6-3 with a 3.19 ERA lifetime against the Braves.

BRAVES: Soroka will be looking to bounce back after allowing career highs in hits (10) and earned runs (5) his last time out. The rookie hurler allowed one earned run over two starts (12 1/3 innings) against the Mets last year.

    Tuesday, 18th June,

    SunTrust Park

Jacob deGrom, RH (3-6, 3.38, 102 Ks) - New York Mets

Julio Teheran, RH (5-4, 2.92, 76 Ks) - Atlanta Braves

METS: It’s been the same old story for the defending NL Cy Young Award winner, who is 1-6 over his last 12 outings despite submitting seven quality starts over that stretch. deGrom has been even better of late, but is 0-1 with a 2.35 ERA over his last five starts.

BRAVES: Teheran has continued to prove he's at his best when he has the ability to command his two-seamer. He has an 0.81 ERA over his past eight starts and a 1.78 ERA in his past 16 starts against the Mets dating back to 2015.

    Wednesday, 19th June,

    SunTrust Park

Steven Matz, LH (5-4, 3.93, 72 Ks) - New York Mets

Max Fried, LH (7-3, 4.11, 70 Ks) - Atlanta Braves

METS: How’s this for consistency? In each of Matz’s last five starts, he’s gone exactly six innings. While the results haven’t been perfect, Matz owns a 3.90 ERA over that stretch, with 34 strikeouts and 11 walks in 30 innings.

BRAVES: Fried still has not regained the effective consistency he had with his curveball during the early part of the season. The southpaw has posted a 7.52 ERA and has allowed opponents to produce a .418 on-base percentage over his past four starts.
