METS: After two rough starts to open the season, Wheeler has quietly settled back into something resembling his 2018 second-half form. Over his last five outings, Wheeler is 2-1 with a 3.00 ERA, 38 strikeouts and 10 walks in 33 innings.

Sandy Alcantara, RH (1-3, 4.93, 27 Ks) - Miami Marlins

Jacob deGrom, RH (2-4, 3.60, 56 Ks) - New York Mets

MARLINS: It's been a mixed bag of good and spotty for Alcantara this season. He has a 1.62 WHIP, yet he's been able to minimize. In three road starts, he's walked 15 in 14 innings, but has a 3.86 ERA. Against the Mets in his career, he's 1-1 with a 1.89 ERA.

METS: deGrom’s issues defending his National League Cy Young Award appear to be a thing of the past. In his last two outings, deGrom owns a 1.29 ERA with 13 strikeouts, seven hits and three walks in 14 innings. Opponents batted .146 against him in that span.

Caleb Smith, LH (3-0, 2.11, 56 Ks) - Miami Marlins

Noah Syndergaard, RH (2-3, 5.14, 54 Ks) - New York Mets

MARLINS: Masterful in his last start, Smith struck out a career-high 11 in a no-decision at the Cubs. The lefty also logged a career-high 112 pitches. In his last five starts, Smith's ERA is 1.42 with 41 strikeouts and nine walks in 31 2/3 innings.
