Jameson Taillon, RH (4-6, 4.03) - Pittsburgh Pirates

Seth Lugo, RH (2-2, 2.85) - New York Mets

PIRATES: Last time out, Taillon allowed three earned runs over five innings in a loss to the Brewers at home. Both of Taillon's career starts vs. the Mets came in his rookie season, when he allowed three runs on eight hits and three walks over 14 innings.

METS: Subbing for Noah Syndergaard in the Mets’ rotation, Lugo has run into a rough patch, allowing eight earned runs in his last eight innings. The Mets hope a return to sea level will help Lugo, who lasted just three innings last time out in Denver.

Chad Kuhl, RH (5-5, 5.56) - Pittsburgh Pirates

Steven Matz, LH (3-5, 3.68) - New York Mets

PIRATES: Kuhl struggled through his worst start of the season, and may have been tipping his pitches, as he allowed eight runs while recording only six outs against Arizona on Thursday. Kuhl has posted a 4.08 ERA and 1.29 WHIP in seven road starts this year.

METS: His last start at Coors Field aside, Matz has been one of the Mets’ best pitchers, posting a 3.10 ERA since the start of May. Matz allowed two runs in five innings in his only previous career start against the Pirates, back in 2016.
