    Nationals Park

David Peterson, LH (5-2, 3.80, 36 Ks) - New York Mets

Patrick Corbin, LH (2-6, 4.76, 57 Ks) - Washington Nationals

METS: Peterson's last start was the finest of his young career. He struck out 10 in that one, generating 22 swings and misses -- most of them with his slider -- en route to six innings of one-run ball and a win.

NATIONALS: New York native Corbin is 2-0 with a 3.09 ERA against the Mets this year. In his final start of the regular season, he is looking for his first win since Aug. 10 (at New York).
